A board-certified health counselor and professional whole foods chef, she received her professional culinary training at the Natural Gourmet Institute for Food and Culinary Arts in New York and at Cobleskill College. She is a graduate of the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, is certified by Columbia University, and accredited by the American Association of Drugless Practitioners as a health coach.

 

It is Cathy’s mission to support and educate clients in cultivating new nourishment and lifestyle habits to take control of their health.

With over 30 years of experience working and teaching in professional kitchens, Cathy has seen firsthand how people abuse their bodies and health by skipping meals, existing on processed foods diets, drinking diet sodas to control their weight, and eating on the go, every day.

Chef Cathy was amazing! She helped plan a three course meal for 15 people to celebrate our marriage. She navigated several dietary restrictions (vegan, gluten free, mushroom and nut allergy) so that everyone could enjoy everything that was prepared. The food was locally sourced, which is very important to us, and delicious. Chef Cathy prepared the meal at an airbnb, where she took the effort of scouting out the kitchen and communicating with the airbnb host. She had thoughtful touches that made the evening special, such as fresh flowers, essential oil, and herbed salt from her garden. I would highly recommend Chef Cathy to prepare a thoughtful, healthy, delicious meal at your next gathering!

Cathy was amazing! From the moment she walked in my home she felt so welcoming and kind. She cooked four courses for a bridal shower at my house and each one was incredible!
